Curtis Leaks

Brother Curtis Leaks is manager of The Southern Sons of Memphis. His positive personality and outlook on life are based upon his favorite Bible verse, “Let not your heart be troubled (St. John 14:1).

Leaks attends New Salem Baptist Church, under the leadership of Reverend Dr. Frank E. Ray, Sr. There, he  is a faithful deacon, trustee, male chorus member, and a national presenter on the Deacon Ministry. Most importantly, however, Leaks is a servant of our Lord and Savior, JESUS CHRIST.

Leaks has received numerous accolades and accomplishments, including Keys to the City of Memphis, the Citizen Award from Memphis Police and Fire Departments, and the Outstanding Service Award from Memphis Light, Gas, & Water, where he retired as a supervisor. Leaks has also received a Distinguished Award from the Governor of the State of Tennessee.

Leaks has worked with various Gospel groups, but he has returned to his first love — The Southern Sons of Memphis!
